Sports Facilities & Achievements

Sports department of
Shrikrishna Mahavidyalaya has various outdoor and
indoor games. In indoor games we have chess,
wresting facilities. As far as outdoor games are
concerned we have spacious grounds for Kabaddi,
Volleyball, Cricket, Khokho and Athletics. With a
great pleasure we mention that, the students of our
college had outstanding achievements in Wrestling
and Athletics. Mr. Kashid Datta, a student of our
college won Bronze Medals in National level
tournament for consecutive two academic years and
Gold Medal at state level tournaments in academic
year1999-2000.
Miss. Amrapali Sonkamble a student of college
represented University in National meet at
Tiruanantpuram and won Bronze Medal in 400 meter
running in the year 1998-99. She also won Gold Medal
in state level tournaments in 800 meter and 3000
meter running in the same academic year. Mr. Madane
Balaji of our college won Bronze Medal and Trophy in
800 meter running in the state level Tournament in
the year 2002-03. Mr. Birajdar B.A. student of our
college won Gold Medal and Bronze Medal at State and
National level wrestling competitions respectively
in the year 1998-99. Students and ex-students along
with staff of college participated in programmes on
social issues under the formal association of
college, “Shrikrishna Performing Arts Center”. For
example, a street play “Jogwa Kranticha” was
presented in Aurangabad District. In near future
college is planning to have “Shrikrishna Adhyasana”
a Study Center.
